I. Product

What is ELION Tattoo Protection?

A daily-wear SPF formulation designed specifically for tattooed skin, not as an afterthought. Made in small batches in Italy.

Who is it for?

Anyone whose work deserves more than a sunscreen made for the beach. Designed for daily wear under clothing, in ordinary light, over years.

Is this a regular sunscreen?

The filter system is calibrated for prolonged daily exposure rather than occasional water-resistant use, with antioxidants chosen specifically to support pigment integrity over time.

II. Application

When should I apply ELION?

As the final step of your morning routine, before clothing. Reapply every two hours of sustained sun exposure, or after swimming or sweating.

Will it leave a white cast?

No. The formulation is calibrated to disappear on every skin tone, including blackwork.

Can I apply it over a fresh tattoo?

Not until the tattoo has fully healed — typically two to four weeks. For freshly healed work, consult your artist before introducing any new product.

Where do you ship?

Worldwide. Complimentary shipping and an enclosed ELION piece on orders above $80.

How long does delivery take?

Three to five business days within Europe, seven to ten business days internationally.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Express shipping is available at checkout for select regions.

IV. Returns

What is your return policy?

Thirty-day returns, even when the product has been opened. The work needed to find what suits you should not be at your cost.

How do I initiate a return?

Email hello@eliontattoos.com with your order number. We will reply with prepaid return instructions.

Are returns complimentary?

Within the EU, yes. International return shipping is at the customer's expense.

V. Ingredients

What UV filters do you use?

Broad-spectrum Zinc Oxide, Avobenzone, and Octisalate, paired with a tattoo-supportive skin complex. Full formula details on the Formula page.

Are the products reef-conscious?

Yes. ELION is made with reef-conscious filters and is cruelty-free.

Is ELION suitable for sensitive skin?

The formulation is dermatologically tested and uses ingredients selected for daily wear on tattooed skin. As with any new product, patch-testing is recommended.

VI. Pre-orders

What's the difference between Add to Bag and Pre-Order?

Add to Bag is for products available for immediate shipment. Pre-Order indicates a product is still in production. We will notify you when it ships.

When does the Stick ship?

Production is in progress. Pre-order to be among the first notified.

Will I be charged at the time of pre-order?

No. Payment is collected only when the product ships.
