ELION

I. Philosophy

Some marks
deserve more
than skin.

A tattoo is a permanent choice. The care for it does not have to be. ELION begins from this single observation — that the work we choose to wear, and to keep, is worth quiet and patient protection.

II. Preservation as ritual

A practice
of permanence.

The pieces worth choosing — the lines, the colors, the slow hours under a needle — were never meant to fade quietly into something else. They were meant to remain themselves, year after year.

ELION exists in service of that durability. Our formulations are built for the long horizon: depth, contrast, and pigment held legible; ritual kept quiet enough to disappear into the day.

01

Permanence

Care for what is meant to remain. Our work begins with the durability of pigment, line, and contrast over decades, not seasons.

02

Ritual

A practice quiet enough to disappear into the day. Daily-wear formulations designed to layer invisibly beneath everything else.

03

Artistry

Made in collaboration with formulators, dermatologists, and tattoo artists working across Sicily and northern Europe.

III. The house

From the
south of Italy.

ELION is a small house in Palermo. We work with the inheritance of our region — ceramic, decorative, considered — and a deliberate refusal of the loud.

The work shows itself slowly. In small batches, with formulations we are proud to keep on our own skin. In a tone close to the Mediterranean light that surrounds us: warm, restrained, unhurried.

ELION N°01 — Daily Sunscreen for Tattoos
IV. The first object
N°01

Daily Sunscreen
for Tattoos.

A featherweight SPF 60+, formulated to preserve the depth, contrast, and pigment of tattooed skin. Worn invisibly, every day, beneath everything else.

Our first object. The beginning of a longer practice.

A note, from Palermo

We made ELION for the marks worth keeping — and for the quiet daily practice of keeping them. There is no urgency to this work. Only the slow conviction that what you've chosen to wear deserves more than the sunscreen made for the beach.
